How we ship and how returns work

We pack every piece in Amsterdam and ship via PostNL to 32 countries across the EEA, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. Each piece is wheel-thrown by hand, so we wrap with care to give it the best chance of arriving intact.
Handling time
Orders ship from the studio within 5 working days of payment, usually faster. If something on your order needs an extra firing or a longer dry, we'll email you so you know.
Rates & delivery times
Shipping is calculated at checkout from the PostNL 2026 rate card — rates depend on the destination and the total parcel weight (we add about 0.3 kg of packaging per order). All rates shown are VAT-included.

We will never ship to Russia. We're a Ukrainian studio, and we will not send our work to the country waging war on our home — now or ever.
We also can't currently ship to addresses outside the list above. If you're nearby and don't see your country, email orders@teiceramics.com — we may be able to arrange something.
Maximum delivery deadline
Under EU consumer law your order is delivered within 30 days at the latest. If we can't meet that, we'll offer you the choice between waiting and a full refund.
Damage in transit
Ceramics break sometimes. If a piece arrives damaged:
- Take photos of the outer box and the damaged piece within 48 hours of delivery.
- Email them to returns@teiceramics.com with your order number.
- We'll either send a replacement (if a similar piece is available) or refund that line — your choice.
You don't need to return broken pieces unless we ask you to.
14-day right of withdrawal
Within 14 days of receiving your order you can withdraw without giving any reason. The full conditions and Annex I model instructions are on the Right of Withdrawal page. You can also start the process directly via our digital withdrawal form.
Return shipping is paid by you, except when the goods were damaged on arrival or do not match the listing — in those cases we cover the return.
Custom or commissioned pieces
Currently every piece in the shop is eligible for the right of withdrawal. If we ever take commissions, those are exempt under EU law (Directive 2011/83/EU art. 16(c)) because they're made to your specification — and we'll make that clear before you commit.
